Sheriff of Nottingham is a game where players take the role of merchants for the city of Nottingham. One player per turn will take the role of the very corrupt sheriff, who’s primary responsibility is to get gold in bribes from the “honest” merchants. The merchants know this and must try to trick the sheriff into letting them take in illegal goods into the city.
